Prickly moses bottles

Hi all,

We’ve had a couple of new beers this last week – Prickly Moses Otway Pilsner and the Prickly Moses Otway Red Ale. Below is a little excerpt of each.

Prickly Moses Otway Pilsner
A light bohemian style pilsner, Otway Pilsner is subtly sweet, fragrant and complex. The use of Otway Estate’s spring water imparts a mellow profile to the beer along with the distinctive spicy floral Saaz hop used for bitterness.

Prickly Moses Otway Red Ale
light reddish hue, malt accentuated with initial malt sweetness and a dryness on the finish from the addition of small quantities of roasted barley. Kent Golding hops provide low hop bitterness and aroma.

Chairman’s Reserve
This rum is a blend of double distilled pot still and continuous still rums. The pot still richness comes through on the nose along with juicy fruits and a hint of honey. The palate is medium bodied with a soft feel, a hint of vanilla and spices. In St Lucia Chairman’s Reserve is best enjoyed with coconut water but can be drunk neat or with a chaser of your choice.

Chairman’s Reserve Spiced
Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Rum is the latest addition to St. Lucia Distiller’s portfolio of world class rums. The rum contains local spices and fruits including cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, coconut, all spice, lemon and orange. We have also added Richeria Grandis – known locally as “Bois Bande” – a bark renowned in the Caribbean as a potent aphrodisiac to give an added kick to the rum.

Alchemia Chocolate Vodka
The infusion of natural cocoa lends Alchemia Chocolate Vodka its amber coloring. It blends an authentic melt-in-your-mouth chocolate flavor and unmistakably tempting aroma. Serve chilled or mixed in cocktail.

Wodka
While walking through the Polmos Bialystock distillery in Eastern Poland, a relic from Poland’s communist era was discovered, Wodka Vodka. Polmos was a Polish state-owned monopoly that controlled the spirits market. Founded in the late 1920s, it was the leading vodka producer in Poland, mostly because the communist authorities forced all distilleries to become a part of the monopoly. The bottle that was found was pale blue with a tattered paper label indicating, simply “Wodka”. Although the generic label, “Wodka” meaning Vodka in Polish, is similar to what American’s would consider a blue label brand, Wodka is a traditional formula founded on the backs of the true founders of Vodka, the Polish people. This simple design and off-center, hand-stamped price screamed “old work and authentic” – a minimalism that led to the creation of a new brand of “Wodka”.

Hussong’s Reposado
Reposado Tequila with light straw colour, prevalent agave and wood characteristics. Bottled by hand in stoneware jugs.

Koppaberg Pear
Kopparberg Pear Cider comes all the way from Sweden where its origins can be traced back to 1882.  This cider is vat brewed and is fermented according to an old recipe using water sourced from the town of Kopparberg along with the finest quality pears available.  The result is a pear cider which has 4.5% alcohol, is light in colour and has a refreshing fruity taste.
